The AI has a short memory and as the story grows, part of the story is trimmed and the AI forgets.
Imagine the following - John falls inside an abandoned house with doors and windows sealed shut
and now he needs to find a way out somehow - as the story goes on, all the sudden the AI outputs
this - John gets very tired and annoyed so opens the door and leaves the building - but we told before
he could not do that at all! The answer to this problem? The Memory box!
Now tell me how many objects you have to click to type and save the updated Memory?
As the story continues, John found a way and went back home and was able to rest on his bed - When
John wakes up, he desperately starts to find a way out of the building! - outputs the AI... But why?
The Memory box can have outdated information. Sometimes it can goes unnoticed for one reason:
or it's the last or first item in that box and because the box is so small and doesn't grow with the text,
you have to scroll all the way and sometimes you can miss it.
To fix this issue, I propose to add an option for the memory box that will bring it to be displayed all
the time and that you don't need to click a Send button to update the data just like Gmail does it.
Author's note and Template can still be hidden since we usually edit those fields once.
One more thing, imo the best place for it should be on the right part of the screen, from top all the way down
but since the choices for multiple gens per action also appear in the same space, that it should be moved as well.
