Hi @sekharkumar, There are two ways to attach a file to a file element in a AASPE. I have failed to reproduce the issue both ways. Thus, I have described the steps for both the options below. Hope that helps. Also, you may try the latest version of AASPE. Option 1: Directly from File element, without adding supplemental file first

Describe the bug
Acting as a senior developer, I am developing a sample AAS file manually using AASX Explorer. However, I am encountering an issue when trying to load a PDF file as a file property in the submodel. The file is not viewable, and a significant error is displayed.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Expected behavior
The PDF file should be viewable without any errors when clicking on "SHOW CONTENT".
