• Project Lead Election: Awaiting PMC approval
• Creating eclipse-thingweb/thingweb for wiki, discussion and similar stuff. Keeping this repo only for GitHub settings. Why: More aligned with other projects on GitHub. Examples: https://github.com/nodejs/.github, https://github.com/python/.github and will be more clear to outsiders. Opinions?
  • First create the repo called "thingweb" with discussion, transfer one discussion and wiki there, then disable discussions on .github and source repo for discussions there.
• New repos:
  • TDD from Siemens: Python and Triplestore-based, SPARQL support.
  • dart_wot: https://github.com/namib-project/dart_wot
    • Falko Galperin might be interested in becoming a committer. We need to talk further about his involvement in the project.

    • Naming? dart_wot or dart-wot ? Underscore is used in dart ecosystem (see here). Maybe the repo can be with - but the package has _ but that would be weird for its users.
  • Discussion: What about other TDDs?
    • Zion from VAIMEE: Cristiano to elaborate on this further. TS-based, Postgres-based, JSON Path
    • Naming: How should we name them? TDD is not necessarily understood by outsiders, explaining it in the description is needed.
      • Not using the acronym but "directory" maybe? -> "zion-directory" - For TDD from Siemens, we need a real name.
    • Sponsoring: How to mention that the work is sponsored by a company? In mosquitto.org, it says "Mosquitto is part of the Eclipse Foundation, and is an iot.eclipse.org project. The development is driven by Cedalo.". We need to understand what the regulations are.

    • How to direct people to one or the other? Mainly about the storage solution, other one would be the language in case people already have a toolchain/environment around a language. Even if ZION has SPARQL or TDD from Siemens has JSONPath and Postgres storage, it should be fine to have two programming

• Slot check: if people are fine with it
• Committer selection: Long involvement with the project is needed (i.e. not good if they did a couple PRs in a month and left). Expressing support in the project as a whole can be considered separately. No plans at the moment to have a strict way to remove committers.

Tentative Agenda

• Highlights:
  • node-wot getting more stable, more users. Talking about commercial users? Need to ask permission.
  • Project scope getting wider, more repositories/solutions. Also, mention the upcoming TDD, dart_wot.
  • Lead elections, regular meetings, more organization
  • Linking to AAS: TD <-> AAS AID
  • Web of Things rechartering and pointers on how to join the work on the standardization side
• Other projects
  • EdiTDor: Explain what it is used for, relationship to playground
