Documentation or how-to? How to point at current WG installation

Looking for documentation or a howto for this. It seems like a cool project, I just need some help along the way.

I'm trying to understand how to connect this to an already existing WG server.

Unfortunately, there's no way of connecting to an existing server.
The closest functionality for this, would be the import tool but this is tool not available yet.

Currently, you would need to insert all peers manually you can edit their keys and address to match your current setup.
You would need some testing here too.

What's the size of your environment? how many peers?

Currently, I have 11 peers and will be adding 4 more soon. If I insert them manually will that over write what I have in my current config or I guess that's essentially setting it up again.

It's like setting up again. you can manually add your server, peer keys, and ip addresses. It's a bit tedious and prone to errors, but it can be done.

Then you need to point the same server address to your new server and configure the same ports (so you won't need to change your peer configuration).

Honestly? Depending on your access to those peers, it may be easier to just add a new configuration and remove the current one.

The "VPN invite tool" can help you to distribute the configuration to the peers.

yeah, I think starting from scratch and using the current info may be the way to go. I'll test it all out.

BTW, will you be creating the ability to ingest a currently running config in the future?

The idea is to implement this and that's why I've opened the issue. Currently, I'm still busy with other priorities, but I will do this when I have more time.

I am going to take a look at what you have and see if I can't get some of it working. Like you my plate is full, but I like where this project is headed.
