History Tracking – Developers can view previous versions of a file, making it easier to identify and fix issues. Error Recovery – If a bug is introduced, developers can revert to a previous working version of the code. Collaboration Without Overwrites – Different team members can work on different parts of a project without interfering with each other’s work.

Describe the process of setting up a new repository on GitHub. What are the key steps involved, and what are some of the important decisions you need to make during this process?

Click on your profile picture (top-right corner) and select "Your repositories." Click the "New" button (or directly go to GitHub New Repo). Fill in the repository details: Repository Name: Choose a descriptive and unique name. Description: Provide a brief summary of the project. Visibility: Select Public (visible to everyone) or Private (only accessible to you and collaborators).
