Describe the bug
The message should be updated to remove 'reinstall' as the documents are being installed for the first time

Kibana/Elasticsearch Stack version

VERSION: 8.18.0
BUILD: 82386
COMMIT: 73f095f86a1341005159a6cd62686bb88430073c

Steps

  1. Kibana version 8.18.0 or above should exist
  2. Navigate to Stack Management --> Security AI settings --> Knowledge Base
  3. Observe that the message asks the user to reinstall the docs even for the first time

Expected Result
The message should be updated to remove 'reinstall' as the documents are being installed for the first time

This can be closed as fixed once #212463 merges, which ensures this callout is only actually displayed when the product documentation has actually been un-installed, which in turn makes the copy correct.

Hi @MadameSheema,

We have validated this is issue on 8.18.0 Bc6 and verified that issue is fixed there 🟢

Please find below the testing details:
Build details:

VERSION: 8.18.0
BUILD: 82626
COMMIT: d3a58d9029840ade8ef9600388f5b102db889e09

Once we uninstall the docs from o11y:

We are keeping this ticket to validate on the 9.0 BC build which is not deployable due to the bug: Unable to deploy 9.0rc1 BC-2 Kibana cloud environment and 8.19/9.1 BC builds are not yet available.
