Currently I am unable to create a room, join a room or initiate a one to one chat with another user. The workaround is to log in with my account on another device, create the room or accept an invite, and send a message in the room then it appears in Element X and I can continue from there.

This is in progress, duplicate of element-hq/element-meta#1055 and element-hq/element-meta#989
