New Type: "drag and drop on text"

Hi ...
I've just got to know the GIFT format plugins for VSCode and still need to get to know them a bit more. But I wonder if it might be possible to implement the question type "Drag and Drop into Text" as well. After all, it's all about text that has to be distributed to different input fields in the Moodle question generators. This should be possible with the GIFT format.

Do you know if this is supported in the GIFT language already? A forum post from years ago suggests it isn't: https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=376521

Otherwise it may need to be implemented in Moodle core first before we are able to add this.
