Feature request:

Provide an alternative option for hosting services that do not provide auto_prepend an auto_append.

Without breaking support for auto_prepend I would suggest to just as first line in the content files.

I'm trying to use your hack.
But its still not working for me for some reason.
My PHP is very rusty, that is very likely the reason of my failure.
Would anybody care to create a distro for crippled that are living on hosted server.
