Tracking Mating Pairings in RandCross

Hi @gaynorr @gregorgorjanc ,

I am using the RandCross2 function in my simulation and am interested keeping record of the male and female pairings throughout selection. My trait of interest is Heifer Pregnancy and downstream I will need to fit sire (that the heifer was mated to) in my model.

Is there any way that I can pull or record sire - heifer pairings from the RandCross2 matings?

See pop@father and pop@mother or pedigree(pop) that will come from the randCross(). You can then assemble the data you are after.
