One thing that would be nice are alternate mounting options, perhaps moving the mounting plate from the bottom to one of the other sides.

I currently have my mounting plate attached through the same screws as the clip plate to mount it directly under a shelf, it works great with the exception it is no longer flush and causes a bit of wiggle.
