Hey,
I think I've done everything right. I've changed a lot of the javascript and some of the css, so I don't know how sensible it would be try to merge the versions of map.js and so on between the two. Right now, the paths are all relative, so it should work as a standalone with the files included, but it means a lot of the images are duplicated too. If this is a problem, let me know and I can work on fixing things up to make it compatible
The one thing that will be different is the how-to and about guides. I made new ones for Mongolia. I will send a separate request to have them added to the extractives/ folder.
