Problem Statement

With the recent PR change changing the day of week that weekly reports are sent the dates the report title states it includes in no longer accurate. For example the report for May 11th, 2024 – May 18th, 2024 isn't entirely accurate as for the user the emails were delivered on the evening of May 17 and morning of May 18 so it couldn't have included all data from May 18.

Solution Brainstorm

Update the time frame to reflect day of week report is issued

Hello, thanks for reporting this. I believe that even prior to this PR change, we always used midnight UTC as the cutoff for the date times of the weekly report.

We can look into improving the user experience of this and make it more clear. thank you.

Hello, thanks for reporting this. I believe that even prior to this PR change, we always used midnight UTC as the cutoff for the date times of the weekly report.

That's possible but usually the date of the email was the next day so there wasn't this potential for overlapping time. In some cases now, I saw emails delivered before the end of the supposed period.

Thank you! I did want to post this most recent report screenshot as an example. Obviously this could depend on the timezeones being considered:
