Is <esc> the right way to stop if your result is the first match?

I often find myself with doing s<char1><char2> and it jump where I want so I press <esc> so it quit the menu. This is a bit confusing for my brain somehow as I am also doing s<char1><char2><char3> whenever it is not the first match.
I just wanted to check that pressing <esc> is the expected behavior if you've jump wherever you wanted with 2 characters.

The idea is that you don't need to press anything to exit, just pretend the labels are not there - they will automatically disappear on the next keypress (if that's not a label). See :help leap-autojump, :help leap.opts.safe_labels.

Aw I see, I just got stuck in my head because the text is still grayed out, I was worried it would mess up things. However, now you told me this, I actually see I don't need to worry about it and the doc do mention it. I just did not understand it.
