Wrong cursor position when leaping between windows

Sometimes when leaping between windows, cursor is placed several characters before the first match.

here I inputted "(leap-from-window)tr". Cursor is 4 characters to the left of where it should be

Does this occur only when leaping between windows? And what happens when you select a labeled target after the autojump?

Yes, only between. When I select labeled target everything works as intended. Even when I use first match, after the first input that is not a label cursor jumps to right position. It's the preview that is in the wrong position.

This doesn't happen with help windows. This may have something to do with virtual text, but I couldn't yet find an option that fixes the behavior
