Thanks for reading my topic.
Cherrytree use GTK ? If yes GTK 5 run only in wayland and so not will be possible run an CherryTree version using GTK5 in X11 session.
However QT current version run in X11.
You has interest in create an Cherrytree version using QT ?

Hello @Augusto7743 for now I'm evaluating when to start the porting to GTK4 (as now I'm using GTK3).
The goal is to keep supporting the build also with GTK3 as I wish to keep supporting older distributions.
I find it unlikely that CheeryTree will migrate to QT in future.

GTK5 not support X11. Have much users still using X11 mainly because of issues related with softwares not compatible with wayland.
