Yes. What else I can look for while refactoring this, for instance I can try make the scripts posix sh compatible by removing bashisms, or further try make many scripts work from busybox (if there are any significant gains from that). |

The point is having scripts that work on Linux on macOS. I don't think busybox makes sens in this context. |

Currently faust2... tools are independent shell scripts, with some common functions included from usage.sh.
That leaves a lot of behaviour to the individual script, for instance temp files storage, cleanup or showing help (some scripts dont show help on plain invocation). Having a base script define the broad structure of the faust2.. tool would help unify the faust2.. tools behaviour, and help in the creation of new faust2.. tools.
