requireAllFields clarification

When provided, the requireAllFields option for the @graphql-eslint/require-selections rule requires that you select those fields even on types that don't implement them. For example, I'd like to enforce that metadata about Relay connections is fetched:

        "@graphql-eslint/require-selections": [
          "error",
          {
            fieldName: [
              "id", "hasNextPage", "hasPreviousPage", "startCursor", "endCursor", "edges", "node", "cursor"
            ],
            requireAllFields: true,
          }
        ]

For an example document that conforms to the rule:

  example {
    pageInfo {
      hasNextPage
      hasPreviousPage
      startCursor
      endCursor
    }
    edges {
      cursor
      node {
        id
      }
    }
  }
}

I get loads of errors complaining about me not selecting fields that don't exist e.g.

1. Field `example.id` must be selected when it's available on a type.
   Include it in your selection set. [@graphql-eslint/require-selections]
2. Field `example.hasNextPage` must be selected when it's available on a type.
   Include it in your selection set. [@graphql-eslint/require-selections]
3. Field `example.hasPreviousPage` must be selected when it's available on a type.
   Include it in your selection set. [@graphql-eslint/require-selections]
4. Field `example.startCursor` must be selected when it's available on a type.
   Include it in your selection set. [@graphql-eslint/require-selections]
5. Field `example.endCursor` must be selected when it's available on a type.
   Include it in your selection set. [@graphql-eslint/require-selections]
6. Field `example.node` must be selected when it's available on a type.
   Include it in your selection set. [@graphql-eslint/require-selections]
7. Field `example.cursor` must be selected when it's available on a type.
   Include it in your selection set. [@graphql-eslint/require-selections]
