To be able to recreate this project:

Download Android Studio to begin https://developer.android.com/studio?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIj53k-b-0_gIV8iuzAB2f0QecEAAYASAAEgL0pfD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds . The link will bring you to a site that will allow yout ot download Android Studio the download link will be at the bottom.

Either download and export the zip file for EZ-Expense or copy the repository link and clone it in Android Studios under clone URL option.
Opening project with zip file:
1) Unzip the project file 2) Start Android Studios 3) On Android Studios click on "Open an existing Android Studios project" 4) Navigate to the root directory of hte project and click "OK"
Opening the project through cloned repository link:
1) To clone the project, on the GitHub repository click on the green drop down button which says "Code" and copy the hyperlink 2) Open Android Studios Code then go to File > New > Project from Version Control 3) After clicking on the "Project from Version Control" a pop-up screen will appear. In the "Version control" click the drop-down menu and select "Git" 4) In the "URL" paste the project link which you copied and then choose your Directory 5) Click on the "Clone" button

After downloaded, the user can either log into an existing account or create a new account.

Once the account has been established, the previous data will be displayed.

Next you will need to create an emulator (you will do this once), you will follow these steps:
-click device manager in the upper right hand corner -click create device -make sure that it is a phone and the version we used was pixel 2 - there will be a triangle on the same line as device, click to run
