Task 3 Coordination Meeting

• WP 3.1

  • Buildings:

    • Descriptions were updated:
      • TeaserXML files have been updated: Information about the AHU is deleted to avoid confusion, it was not used anyways + Density of air cavity is 1.23 kg/m³ instead of 100 kg/m³ (was already communicated a long time ago, but was not yet correct in the teaserXML file for the 1980s)
      • StROBe occupant profiles have been replaced by 10 min resolution instead of 15 min. The profiles are the same, they have just been resampled by Enora.
      • For the office building set point temperature set back should be considered for day and night.
      • The office building should be modeled once as a single story building but as tall as a three story building, and once as a three story building with a ground floor, middle floor, and a last floor.
      • DESTEST platform available: o structure of platform? - Ina
    • Results were updated:
      • IDEAS results for SFD have changed due to NEW IDEAS version (v1.0 >>> v2.1)
      • CE1: comparison of solar radiation (weird peak in the morning for IDEAS) - Arash
      • CE2: comparison of set-point temperatures for different occupants - Tohid
      • CE4: results for office buildings (from Alessandro & Arash)
      • The discrepancies in the weather files are to be reported to WP1
      • The comparison of indoor air temperature for both the dayzone and nightzone demonstrates some discrepancies in AixLib and Trnsys libraries for some of the StROBe occupancy profiles
      • The office building results are now available and one of them should be designated as the reference case - Michael
      • Asked Filip and WP1.1 for solar radiation issue - Ina
      • The participant Clemens Felsmann will present his experiences in the field through some slides

  • Network:

    • overview of current status - Alessandro
    • The effect of using different heat exchangers should be quantified
    • Everyone should use a reference case for the network
    • As a future step: coupling of network with the district
