Like to have a way to Remove Specific Media Files from the Offline Music List. Best would be if i could "free cache" for a Specific Playlist / Album / Artist or Genre.

I have many Playlists and Media Files (via Nextcloud Music its about 45k Titles) and somehow Power Ampache 2 mainly Prefers already Cached Media Files.

My goto is to Create large Playlists and then Listen to them Shuffled. Because i am "Looking" for (as an example) Ambiente Soundbites to work on them later in Audition. So i Pretty much go through a Lot of Different Media Files.

The Spinner Button in Power Ampache 2 (Plays Random Tracks from my Whole Library) would be Great, so i dont need to Create Playlists just for Searchig of Tracks.

Do i make sense with that? My English is not very good.

Hello, thanks for reaching out.
I believe I understand most of your requests, but I'm a bit unclear about your "spin it" request.

I'll address each point individually:

Like to have a way to Remove Specific Media Files ...
This feature is already in the works and will be available in one of the upcoming updates.

I have many Playlists and Media Files (via Nextcloud Music its about 45k Titles) and somehow Power Ampache 2 mainly Prefers already Cached Media Files.
Could you provide more context on when this happens? Prefers where? Is this related to the "Spin It" feature?

As for your last request, I'm not entirely sure if I’m fully addressing it, but I am working on some customizations for the "Spin It" button, you'll be able to decide what that button will play.

Let me know if I’ve covered everything. If not, feel free to clarify, and I'll be happy to address anything I missed.

hi, I was waiting for a follow up to your issue. For your information, disc cache will be available in the next release.

Sorry for the realy Long Delay. Just Bricked my Phone (LOS 22.1 > 22.2) while is was already Busy enough with Life.

The use of the "Spinner Button" is not Directly Related to my Problem. Thats why i Confused you?

My Issue is with Larger Playlists.
I Collect many Tracks and Add them to a Playlist, using Nextcloud Music. Easily a few hundred Tracks...

Then i Sync this Playlist to my Phone, here comes Power Ampache 2 into Use. No i Start Listening, Stop Tracks and make some Notices and Skip to the Next Track. This way i go quit Fast through many Tracks. Somewhat Asorting or Refining for Later Working with these Tracks.

My Phone is an SM-N976B (Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ 5G, 512 GB internal Storage Variant) Running LineageOS 22.1 (Android 15).

But Playlists in Power Ampache 2 do Really get Slugish when they have around + 200 Tracks. If for Example i Load a Playlist from a Artist (aka Discography) the Playlist can have around 300 Tracks. This takes a Long Time to Load for Power Ampache 2 and mostly does Crash it.

For now i keep my Weekly Playlists for asorting Down to about 100 Tracks and Instead have up to 3 Playlists.

Does this Help?
