It would be nice to have state and transition de-highlighting fade over time so 
we have a visual record of transitions, especially if they go fast.

In issue #40 there is also a timer need. Maybe we need a separate timing thread where we can schedule actions to be taken at a time x?

We can use the morphic infrastructure, for example as follows:

World 
    addAlarm: #value
    withArguments: #()
    for: [ 42 inspect ]
    at: Time millisecondClockValue + 5000
