This privacy policy governs your use of software skills for the Amazon Alexa skill called Utopia.
We will not share, rent or sell user provided information to anyone, and is only used to respond within the session. Information is not persisted or stored, and only exists within a session of the Alexa skill. The information that is voluntarily given is used respond to you within the Alexa skill's session.
In addition, the Skills may collect certain information automatically as part of normal operation within the context of the Amazon Alexa including, but not limited to, your hardware device unique ID, a unique user ID, your prior usage of the Skills, and information about the way you use the Skills.
Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to Amazon's software environment and services to help us improve the Skills and our service.
We may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:
- As required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
- When we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
You can stop all collection of information by the Skills easily by disabling the Skills on your Amazon Alexa account. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your device or Amazon account.
We will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Alexa skill. The information is not persisted or stored and only exists within a session of the Alexa skill.
When it comes to the collection of personal information from children under the age of 13 years old, the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) puts parents in control. The Federal Trade Commission, United States' consumer protection agency, enforces the COPPA Rule, which spells out what operators of websites and online services must do to protect children's privacy and safety online.
We do not specifically market to children under the age of 13 years old.
We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the Alexa service, your information is protected both online and offline.
While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
Please be aware that, although we endeavor to provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.
By using our Applications, you are consenting to our processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us.
"Processing" means using cookies on a computer, mobile/Device or using or touching information in any way, including, but not limited to, collecting, storing, deleting, using, combining and disclosing information, all of which activities will take place in the United States.
If you reside outside the United States your information will be transferred, processed and stored there under United States privacy standards.
