I am still not clear whee I would get a GBIF key from or where I could upload it?
When I just uploaded the Ostracoda 7, I got a GBIF key for Darwinulidae (family) though I had not entered one;
but he keys that I had in the upload column "GBIF key" where not uploaded

please @helendallas, can you explain this to me?

So I did a test and uploaded NewPlecoptera without any GBIF keys, and the system found the links automatically (as they did in the past). SO @dimasciput I am assuming it is not necessary to include the GBIF key in the taxonomic upload file.

However I think it found the GBIF key because the taxon already exists in the taxa table.

When I checked NEMATOMORPHA, no GBIF keys had been added.

So @schmikloi When there are no GBIF keys uploaded the best is to use the
Edit In Admin option

Then click Find GBIF

Select the correct on:

And Save

The taxon should then have the GBIF ID

I guess this would form part of the checking by the experts although it is quite timeconsuming

Maybe you could add a quick step @dimasciput and include option here: GBIF Key - Search

I also believe if the On GBIF is YES, then the system looks up the GBIF Key. In your Ostracoda file, only Darwinulidae, was yes, the others were No.

I am going to reupload with all Yes, but no GBIF ID to check. - So it uploaded by still no GBIF ids. Also I was not able to Find GBIF id for
Alicenula serricaudata - the fetching just spun, but on GBIF it is a here:

Possible issue re synonym and accepted name. How do we deal when FADA and GBIF are in disagreement?

Vanessa has found a way on how to add the GBIF link to a dataset; but then, when uploading the file, the link should be recognized and implemented
