onewayTLS gloo gateway vs kgateway

Currently, I'm using gloo gateway OSS and I'm using onewayTLS by simply adding:
annotations:
gloo.solo.io/sslService.secret: upstream-tls

Any idea how we can achieve the onewayTLS with kgateway ?

Is kgateway production ready ?

We have initial support for BackendTLSPolicy (caCertificateRefs, hostname are implemented). and full support for it coming soon.

As for the other question - We are close to the 2.0 release - are happy to hear any feedback you may have!

Yep, support for BYO ext auth is planned for the upcoming 2.0 release. See #10683 for the tracker for that work.
