NFC reads failes

Hello,

My NFC reads fails from time to time. It is not stable.
I'm using PN532 reader connected to a raspberry pi 5 using a usb connector.
When fails, I get this error:

Any idea why?

When PN532 reports "Protocol Error", it means that during communication, it received a "broken" piece of data.

This could happen for a multitude of reasons, mostly related to antenna performance. For instance, a reader not being able to "hear" the response of a device properly, because of poor antenna tuning or device leaving the range prematurely, etc.
