The first version of the Street View Image Downloader is complete and ready for use. Whilst improvements can certainly be made, it is good enough to be used nonetheless. Over 5000 lines of code have been written to a high standard, the original planned features have successfully been implemented overall, documentation has been written, and tutorials are available.
Future versions could see improvements such as:
- Support for downloading third party panoramas.
- Street view simulation (identifying adjacent panoramas).
- Making latitude/longitude more relevant (e.g. identifying/downloading panoramas close to given coordinates).
