Devs could suprise everyone and do massive comeback by updating lxde to gtk4. lxde is much better than lxqt. lxde is amazing and customizable. there are ppl who still uses it but if devs added gtk4 support for lxde, it will be default DE for a lot of people

How is lxde better than lxqt when the latter is more advanced? The only advantage lxde has is lower memory consumption, but not by that much.
