Remote temp sensor

This works awesome with my cooper hunter portable ac. The thing I hate about the ac is I have to use the remote control which features a remote location temperature sensor for the ac to use instead of the one in the unit.

Is there anyway via your integration to have the ac use like my ecobee or other room temp sensor instead of its built in one.

You can build an ESPHome node to pull any temperature sensor from HA and transmit it to the AC unit via IR.
