I've played Ultima Online for a very long time. My daughter, who is seven, want to play with me so I've been playing around with RunUO. I can easily set it up on a Windows box but wanted to setup a permanent server on a Raspberry Pi 2. I've gotten it working and I'm trying to capture/save what I did so if others want to do it, they can.

Unfortunately the progress on RunUO has stumbled to a halt. With Ryan pulling out of developing it, all we have are the read only forums left and other spots on the Internet. I'm not claiming ownership of any of this stuff, only the minor changes to set it up on the RPi.

The RunUO code is based on the latest code from the github.com/runuo effort. I grabbed the latest edition of Nerun's Distro and put it in. I also found the Encryption package so you can use UO Clients without Razor/UO Assist, etc. This is important for me since I can't get Razor/UO Assist to work on the Mac with Crossover. I'm running the Ultima client in Crossover (Wine) on the Mac.

So hopefully I'm not "offending" anyone with what I'm doing. If some, please let me know. I will make any modifications that are asked of me or remove things if asked to. But hopefully you and others will see that all I'm doing is carrying the torch you all have created into Raspberry Pi land!
