Standard Directory Structure

\_ /opt
    \_ app
        \_ bin - user scripts
        \_ conf - application configuration files, common machine learning models, etc...
        \_ data - where applications can write persistent data
        \_ pkg - binaries for applications
        \_ tmp - tmp directory for applications
