It would be nice to have the active spool temperatures accesible for using in the start_print macro.
This way, one could slice files once for different filaments, and only need to worry about activating the right spool.

Mainsail is just a webinterface and has nothing todo with your gcode process. So something like that is just impossible to implement in Mainsail. (and it would also do nothing, when you close your browser, because it is only running in your client browser. So if you close your browser, no instance of Mainsail is running)
just my 2 cents to this topic:
temperatures are just a very small value of filament attributes. so just use extruder + bed temp from your active spool would not enough to change filament to print. so this solution would be the worst you can do...
let the slicer be your slicer and slice your gcode and spoolman should manage your spools, not your gcode...
