Hiding nested categories in the category section

I'm converting my collection to be mayfold friendly, currently my collection is divided by theme then subsets, like Warhammer/xenos/tau/infantry/stealth suits

Right now I'm treating categories like folders, so right now my category tab is covered in subcategories.

Id love to hide subcategories in the category tabs. I'm also totally willing to change my plan if there's a better way

Nice idea - probably should be the default! I've added this as a feature request in #3690.
