  • Maryland's first 2 congressional elections were a mixed district/at-large system - "candidates were elected at large but had to be residents of specific districts" - NNV treats them as at large (no district listed) and shape files treat them as district elections (district number attached)

  • Cannot match nj.uscongress.1812 to a congress session

    • should be the 13th congress but elected officials don't match
    • Additionally, we have IDs for the 13th congress
  • sc.uscongress.georgetown.1823 - election results do not match Martis

  • sc.uscongress.pendleton.1820 - discrepancy between .tsv and online NVV (different results)

  • South Carolina redistricted during the 18th congress - issue for mapping the districts to the election results
