Checklist

  • I have followed the install preparation procedure - including the verification part I, II & III.
  • I have installed the latest release (or BETA) version of the integration and home assistant.
  • I have prepared DEBUG log output (for technical issues) | In most of the cases of a technical error/issue I would have the need to ask for DEBUG log output of the integration. There is a short tutorial/guide 'How to provide DEBUG log' here
  • I am aware that rotating the tibber pulse reading head anti clockwise can improve data quality | See this user comment and the next comment as well
  • I confirm it's really an issue | In the case that you want to understand the functionality of a certain feature/sensor Please be so kind and make use if the discussion feature of this repo (and do not create an issue) - TIA

Add a description

I would like to add a second node to my Tipper Bridge. I have added the new node to the bridge via the web server, which is also no problem. However, I get the error ‘already_configured’ at the IP/Hostname field in the Tibber Pulse Local Integration, because I have already used the IP for the first node. But it should actually allow this if it is the same IP but a different node ID. Or is there a trick?

currently there is 'no trick' - I would expect a big mess in the current implementation, if you want to use more then one Pulse IR...

This means that the second Tibber IR must be operated with its own bridge? Does this then work with HA integration?

as long as you use a different display name the code should work fine with a second bridge - but I can understand, that this might not be the pfeffere way of operation...

but allowing different nodes for the same bridge should not be so complicated to be implemented... so stay tuned...

Please update to latest release and close this issue, when it's fixed - TIA

Wow that was fast. I was able now to add the second node and it seems to be working properly. But I won't be able to say for sure until Tuesday because that's when I'll get the new electricity meter for the heat pump. I therefore only connected the second node to the first electricity meter for testing purposes

@marq24 @saschafuhrmann I was just trying out the new version this morning and it worked perfectly! Man thanks!
Just on a sidenote the display name should not contain german special characters. :-)

My new second electricity meter is not compatible with Tibber so I can't test it properly. But thanks again for the quick implementation
