How can I clear the previous search text in the test explorer filter text box?

Every time when I open the test explorer, it always shows me the previous search in the test explorer filter. Is there a way that I can clean it up? I assume the old search history is kept somewhere as cache and I am happy to manually clean it if no function built for this yet.

I'm not specifically aware of anything, but you can try either asking at https://stackoverflow.com/questions/tagged/visual-studio-code or opening an issue at https://github.com/microsoft/vscode/issues/new/choose .

Thanks for your reply, @brettcannon. I found out that if key in a space and hit enter, the search textbox in test explorer will unset/forget the last search.
