Corrupt ZIP: end of central directory record signature not found

Hello! I can't seem to install the Python extension. Doing so returns the error:

Attempting to install manually with a .vsix file returns the same error.

Other extensions install just fine, like C/C++ and Prettier.

I have tried reinstalling vscode, still to no avail.

Is this via the Marketplace? How are you getting the VSIX? Did you try downloading the VSIX again?
