Error "zsh: unknown file attribute: i" when using "run selection/line in python terminal" or "shift+Enter" in VSCode on Mac

I got some python code and I'm trying to run separate snippets of code.

When using "shift+Enter" or "run selection/line in python terminal" I get the below error:
zsh: unknown file attribute: i

I saw some issues related to "run selection/line in python terminal" or "shift+Enter" but they were related to a specific version of the Python extension for VSCode from 2023 (#21419).

My python extension version is v2024.12.2 (VSCode version: 1.92.0 (Universal)).

Any idea what this error indicates and how to troubleshoot it?

Could you please send:

Output for Python in the Output panel (View→Output, change the drop-down the upper-right of the Output panel to Python)

The strange thing is, when I run the same code using the Run button in the upper-right cornet, I get the expected results.

I also noticed that when it comes to simple snippets of code like:

print("Hello world")

Shift + Enter works as expected:

So Shift + Enter seems to work with simple snippets of code, but not with more complex ones like making and printing an API call (even though the same API call is made and correctly printed when using the Run button in the upper-right corner).
