Issue with Azure Prompt Flow environment setup on VS Code #24946

Closed as not planned

Description

@harinath23

I am encountering an issue where the Azure Prompt Flow environment does not set up properly on my laptop. After installing all the required packages and the PromptFlow SDK, the environment doesn't seem to function correctly.

Some observations:

I am able to activate the environment via CMD, but when I open VS Code, it does not detect the environment properly.
In some cases, the environment works after manually activating it through CMD, but it is not stable, and the issue reoccurs randomly.
Everything seems to be configured properly, but it’s not fixed, and I continue to face issues with the environment setup not functioning as expected.
Steps to reproduce:

Install the required PromptFlow SDK package.
Attempt to set up the environment in VS Code.
Encounter issues where the environment is not set up properly.
Expected behavior: The environment should be automatically set up and detected by VS Code without needing manual intervention.

Additional Information:

Python version: 3.10
Visual Studio Code extension: Python
Relevant paths/configurations are correctly set, as seen in the images attached.
