The smartdns-rs binary should look for smartdns-rs.conf and possibly have an include for /etc/smartdns/smartdns.conf
(because)
the smartdns.conf syntax for forwarding is not understood the same
server 192.168.88.250:531 -group onsite
nameserver /onsite/onsite
nameserver /88.168.192.in-addr.arpa/onsite
seems to be silently ignored on smartdns-rs but is valid for smartdns, along with other values
(another suggestion)
smartdns-rs should not replace smartdns binary on the service install
(because)
possibly you wanted to run smartdns-rs and smartdns on the same machine to test if all things are working correctly
(also)
I have an HTTPS (record type 65) seems to have a delay in responding if there is no HTTPS record, whereas smartdns does not have such delays. I need to provide results.
