So I'm curious if there is an actual way to remove vim and nvim my preferred editor is nano and even though i have nano set as my default editor in the setting menu it just defaults to vim and anytime i try open anything and when trying to remove it i get told i can't due to dependencies. This is rather annoying because to open a document or file with nano i have to go the long way around and open nano then browse for my file then when i go t save i then have to browse to the file to overwrite when normally on my other system i could just cntrl o and save it. I do not have a desire to learn vim or it's controls but I'm also sick of adding 18 steps to the process of using nano. Can anyone help me with this?
