Okay, this one's a bit of a stretch. Captchas are braindead and only exist to train AIs nowadays, and email verification is utterly useless against a spammer who owns a custom domain. Verifying phone numbers is completely unethical and unacceptable for a service like this which has no reason to collect any.

Probably gonna do honeypot form fields ("invisible" form fields that are technically visible) or maybe a custom-made captcha that tries to throw off any analysis?
