Describe the solution you'd like
Prism allows virtual machines to be exported as OVA (VMDK or QCOW2).

The packer builder currently supports only raw export. Exporting as VMDK or QCOW2 would be a good addition. Certainly in cases where the disk is of larger size, as this means a way smaller archive can be downloaded.
