If this is your first time running an MSI file, Windows might try to "protect" you by not allowing you to run the installation file. You'll see a message that looks like:

Windows Protected Your PC Windows SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk.

If you see this message, click OK to dismiss it, and now we'll allow the file.

First, navigate to where you saved the nvQuickSite MSI file. Right-click on it, and choose properties.

Go to Properties for the file

You'll see an "Unblock" button at the bottom of the General tab. Click it and then click OK to dismiss the properties window.

That's it. Go run the installer again, and enjoy the software.
