Thank you for your time in completing this issue! 🙌

What is the problem in the documentation?

This mentions "edit file property" command as a way to edit a property. How do one access this command from the command palette?

This command exists when I got to Settings > Hotkeys:

Any suggested fixes?

Make it clear how to use the "Edit file property" command, I do not find the command on the command palette.

I will check if this is a bug in the documentation, or the app.

I have confirmed this may be a partial doc bug, and a partial app issue.

Currently, it's available when you have a property focused. So the expected behavior is:

  • assign hotkey
  • focus property
  • press hotkey

But we'll see if we can make the command palette not erase the current focus, so waiting to close this until I get more information.

I understand. Not quite sure what you mean with "waiting to close this until I get more information". Should I close this for now?

No, keep it open. I need to confirm we wont make changes on our end before I close this out. :)
