Gemini 2.5 flash thinking budget and model parameters

Hi @olimorris . I'm testing the new Gemini 2.5 flash https://developers.googleblog.com/en/start-building-with-gemini-25-flash/ and have a couple of questions.
If I define the adapter as in :

        gemini_flash = function()
            return adapters.extend('gemini', {
                env = { api_key = GEMINI_API_KEY },
                schema = {
                    model = { default = 'gemini-2.5-flash-preview-04-17' },
                    maxOutputTokens = { default = 2048 },
                },
            })
        end,

Then

1. I get an error saying "Invalid JSON payload received. Unknown name \"maxOutputTokens\": Cannot find field." Which is kind of strange since it that field is defined in the adapters/gemini.lua file and apparently also in the API https://ai.google.dev/api/generate-content
2. If I remove the maxOutputTokens field things work but I would also like to define the thinkingBudget parameter. to control the reasoning and adding thinkingBudget = { default = 0 } doesn't seem to have any effect.
3. A bit more general: I see that this Gemini 2.5 flash is not defined in the gemini.lua file config or that gpt-4.1 is not in the openai config. Is there are a plan to add them?

Feel free to PR them. I can't be over everything so I'd ask the Community to help me out, test them and PR them if they work.
