Unregistering of items in sidebar

Hi just wanted to know that is there anything that can be used to un-register based on the position that we can mention in this openwisp-utils for sidebar/nav-bar

I think there's no method to unregister a menu item right now but it wouldn't be hard to implement, if you need it badly you can try implementing it yourself. You'll have to manipulate the data structure of the menu.

if i a that small code for unregistering_menu can i send it?

I am just rookie here so
the process is i created one variable to store all the positions of those unregistering menus and created a function to just add them and returning unregistering menus and while registering only i am checking whether that position we want is there in unregistering i not updating the menu for so
def unregister_menu(positions):
if not isinstance(positions, list):
return ImproperlyConfigured(f'The positions type should be list not {positions}')
if positions:
for position in positions:
unregister_menus.append(position)
return unregister_menus

_unregistering_menus = unregister_menu([])

if position not in _unregistering_menus:
    MENU.update({position: group_class})

this suited for my code
just wanted to say the work you and the team done on this project helped me a lot to learn in python thankyou again!
