Port to C

I would like to maybe help port this project to C. I have to say though, I don't have much experience with compilers, but I am currently trying to find a project to enhance my experience, so maybe this would be a good way to get into it.

Would it be easier to port to Go or D - both GC languages that are easier to work with than C?
Of course would love to have a C port.
But one thing to bear in mind is that I am still working on defining the core - and so things do change.

Probably easier, yes. But I currently don't have any experience with those languages.
And I kind of like the more basic aspect of C, which makes it more challenging. Like having no GC.

Okay well it is up to you. C is great but you can get caught up in bugs and issues due to memory management.

That is totally right. But that's for me one of the things I like about C.
