Imposed displacement and contact

I'm seeking assistance with a problem, when applying an imposed displacement the contact gets ignored, ( I am trying to model the break of a snap-fit and this was my first try before using a material with failure criteria ),

May I ask you, which contact interface are you using ?

Can you add your model (in a zipped file) for double checking ?

I think I got it, the displacement was constant from time step 0,

I simply added a ramp and it worked flawlessly

Perfect, you got it !

Please, be aware, that OpenRadioss is always extrapolating.
So, if you want to stop, you shoud just repeat your last input, and it will not move further (if you are using imposed displacement).
