WICG on Mastodon or Bluesky?

The WICG, though not active anymore, has a presence on Twitter/X. Are there plans to provide updates on Mastodon and/or Bluesky (and be active there)? (I’m not counting @w3_social_web_incubator_community_group@denof.theoccasionoctopus.net.)

This would be great, if only to have a network to mention and attribute the WICG (one that isn’t increasingly linked with all sorts of -isms, and that makes it hard for people to associate with).

@j9t, had a chat about this with @yoavweiss and @cwilso last week. Is there something in particular you'd find it useful to have posted to the socials? We're trying to work out the practicalities of opening up other social accounts, and more importantly making sure they're useful and that we can maintain them.

I think major updates from WICG initiatives would be great to have, and great to be made easy to share. The devil may lie in the “how” to have and share them—personally, a combination of feed (for reliable consumption) and posts on decentralized social media (for easy sharing and attribution, like on Frontend Dogma) would be most useful. (Of course, for others, this may vary.)

I’m not close enough to tell what updates are and can be shared, but I’d hope there’s something to the feed option, as syndicating those entries to various social media (including Mastodon and Bluesky) could then be automated. That may help followers and publishers like myself, to learn about and support WICG work.
